A friend recommend building the Tone Bender Mk I. I hadn’t tried this before. So I thought I’d give it a go. It also helped that I had heard the one Joe built over a ToneFiend. Sounds pretty good. Sort of a cross between the Fuzz Face and the Tone Bender Mk II. Really the best of both worlds.
What transistors are those? Is that hfe written on their sides? š
The transistors are AC128. I wrote the gain on the sides. I forget if I included the leakage in that number, suspect not.
